Description:

The panel will discuss how a complex idea of the south can be thought of by the diverse “modes” of being that create and articulate territorialities, reveal and challenge power structures and asymmetries and, last but not least, act politically through a series of singular effects. This will be followed by a series of provocative questions that actualize books' discussion to our contemporary experience, specially how these “modes of being” are living through our pandemic time.
